This is the policy foundation for the private preview. It will be reviewed against the final company entity, hosting, payment and data-processing arrangements before public production launch.
Scope
This notice explains how Mekaana handles information when someone visits our website, contacts us, requests a demo or uses a Mekaana workspace. Product-specific agreements may add more detail for an organisation and its users.
Information we handle
The information depends on the Mekaana capabilities and role in use. We aim to collect only what is reasonably needed to provide, secure and improve the relevant service.
- Contact, enquiry and demo-request details.
- Account, identity, role and workspace membership details.
- Property, unit, occupancy, tenancy and document records.
- Billing, payment-status and reconciliation evidence.
- Maintenance, communication, access and operational records.
- Device, diagnostic, support and security information.
How information is used
We use information to respond to requests, provide the service, configure permissions, support property workflows, maintain reliable records, secure the platform, meet applicable obligations and improve Mekaana.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use workspace information for unrelated advertising.
Who decides how information is used
For most workspace records, the subscribing organisation determines why information is handled and which authorised people can access it. Mekaana processes that information to provide the agreed service. For our own website, sales, security and business operations, Mekaana determines the relevant purposes.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as it is needed for the service, security, records, disputes and applicable legal or contractual requirements. Retention settings may differ by information type and customer agreement. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.
Security and permissions
Mekaana is designed around role-based access, workspace boundaries, accountable actions and evidence trails. No service can promise absolute security, so controls, monitoring and incident procedures must work together with responsible customer administration.
Access, correction and choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information associated with you. A workspace user should normally contact the organisation operating that workspace first; we will support legitimate requests where required. Some records may need to be retained to preserve financial, access, safety or audit evidence.
Service providers and locations
Mekaana may use service providers in Pakistan and other locations. Before production launch, customer terms and processing arrangements will identify material providers, data locations and safeguards relevant to the deployed service.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the product, company and applicable requirements develop. Material changes will be reflected here with a new update date. Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the Mekaana contact page.
